Three things are certain in life; Death, Taxes and Degenerate Combos

So the combo aspect of the deck is based around loops that constantly sac and replay creatures, and can be exploited in several ways. Obviously the deck can win in other methods, but whilst you have the opponent on lock, these combos offer a faster win condition.

The first combo is more direct on the pieces it needs to work. It requires four cards, Yahenni, Undying Partisan + Oathsworn Vampire + Pitiless Plunderer + Bontu's Monument

The combo works by sacrificing Oathsworn Vampire to Yahenni, Undying Partisan, which gains you a treasure through Pitiless Plunderer. This treasure is used to create , and Bontu's Monument makes black creature spells cheaper, meaning you can play the Vampire and ping your opponent for 1 every cycle.

The next combo uses Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle + Yahenni, Undying Partisan + Scrap Trawler + Ornithopter and one of the following:

-Bontu's Monument: This creates the same loop as the first combo, pinging your opponent to death.

-Rhonas's Monument: This gives trample and unlimited pump to a creature or multiples. The downside of this is you risk removal or blow out through Settle the Wreckage.

-Aetherflux Reservoir: Similar to the first choice, we cast enough spells to reach over 50 life total, and ping our opponent to death.

This combo works by casting Ornithopter, which triggers Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle to return Scrap Trawler from the graveyard to the battlefield. Both creatures are then sacrificed to Yahenni, Undying Partisan, when Scrap Trawler is sacrificed, it triggers and you can return Ornithopter to your hand, thus starting the loop again. You pair this with any of the monuments to gain a win con.

We have various tutors that search up combo pieces. Forerunner of the Legion can be used to find any vampire from either combo. Final Parting can be used to find two pieces, one going to the grave. This is fine as long as this piece is usually cast from the grave in a combo. Inventors' Fair will fetch any artifact to your hand, but is situational. Mastermind's Acquisition can retrieve any piece that you are missing.
