New 2020 commander, Kalamax, the Stormsire. Out with the old Grixis storm, in with Temur storm.

More expensive cards are in the maybeboard, as well as others I was struggling to cut.

The problem with using storm in non-black non-white decks is the lack of tutors to find it. With blue we can draw a ton of cards and hope to get Thousand-Year Storm into hand, or in this case I added Ethereal Usher. This can be used to transmute for TYS, or act as a decent way of getting Kalamax tapped by unblocked attack if TYS has already been draw/played.

I’ve also decided to use Long-Term Plans instead of Mystical Tutor. It takes longer/more mana to get the card you want but can search for anything.

I’m thinking of adding some infinite mana combos in to feed the big X cost burn spells...copying Long-Term Plans lets me tutor for any two cards (or more depending on what’s on the field or in my hand) so I can tutor up both piece of a mana combo or the missing piece plus a burn spell if that’s what I’m missing.

• Pili-Pala+Grand Architect being one of the better in terms of mana cost to play the combo

• Wind Zendikon+Pemmin's Aura/Freed from the Real+Izzet Boilerworks/Simic Growth Chamber is also a cheap combo but requires having one of the bounce lands that can produce blue mana out, and only makes infinite mana of one colour
