Kalamax - Copy spells

Early game: Ramp hard - Dont prioritize instants over sorceries. Casting Kalamax is a good idea because he gets bigger with the Instant spells you do cast and copy with him. Tap him using free methods or attack a defenseless opponent to copy stuff early game.

Late game: Find ways to setup multiple copies of each spell you cast - i.e. Kalamax + Dual Casting + Twinning Staff - and play the biggest spells possible.

Proection spells are for protecting the wincon's - not the commander (unless copying a wincon is the way to win)

Tokens are chump blockers / mana for cryptolith rite's

Instants spells for Kalamax are good, but sorceries usually are stronger(compared to instants at similar CMC). The deck is setup to copy ANY spell you want. Deck should run w/out commander but with him - it can be exponentially more explosive.

Based on my playgroups meta, not just the "best" build

sidenote change the categories to custom to see the deck's unique categories
