Sideboard

STT stands for Servo Tokens Tribal. Because the main two cards in this deck are colorless, you could theoretically put them in any color slice, or wedge. So I'm on a mission to see which colors work best.

The deck in it's purest form is Metallic Mimic + Animation Module. this version adds cards like Rishkar, Peema Renegade and Master Trinketeer just help flesh it out and give it a sort of flexibility.

So this deck is trying to go a couple different ways here. One, making Servos. Using cards like Animation Module, Master Trinkeeter, & Sram's Expertise you make a decent amount (or a ton) of Servos. Hopefully when you make them you have cards like Metallic Mimic or Westvale Abbey   to make use of all this token generation.

Two, be able to tap the Servos for mana. Using Rishkar, Peema Renegade, the Servos on the field should help keep the heat on your opponent unless they have some mass removal like Fumigate.

Mostly because White cards make up the majority of the servo cards in standard. Green for a bit of utility, protecting your creatures with Blossoming Defense or Heroic Action , while also being able to make my creatures be able to tap for mana with cards like Rishkar, Peema Renegade, not to mention it gives access to cards like Oath of Ajani, Bristling Hydra, and Angel of Invention .
Oath of Ajani: Half of this deck kinda resolves around +1/+1 counters, in order to trigger Animation Module. Still a card I'm mulling over.

Angel of Invention : I love this card but it is way too fragile. Yes, it's a lord and yes it has lifelink but it's a 5 drop that dies to shock and Walking Ballista. I had to take it out.

Decimator of the Provinces : Another potentially fun inclusion, and would make the tokens into bigger threats than they already are. But it's really expensive to cast.

Thraben Inspector: I like it but it's really not what this deck is looking for.

Narnam Renegade: Deathtouch is fun to have, and triggering revolt does give it a counter, which could potentially trigger Animation Module. Not sure if I want it in the final cut though.

Toolcraft Exemplar: Potentially a 3/3 with first strike during our turn only. It's a good card, it does work, starts the deck off to an aggressive start, and draws in removal which means less removal for key cards.

Rishkar's Expertise: The deck really feels bad when you have nothing to do with your mana. Drawing into this could really change the tide, and the deck has the big creatures and mana to support it. The only reason I'm not currently playing it is because I don't know what to take out to test it.

So for those of you following the deck you may notice some new additions and some interesting losses. One, I cut Crypotlith Rite. I really loved that card and I'm really going to miss it but at the same time, it wasn't helping the deck. At Gameday I only had 2 because I couldn't find the 3rd copy I wanted but one game I had nothing else to do with my mana so I cast my second Crypolith Rite. No creatures. It really hurt. I finally realize it was hindering more than it was helping. Goodbye Rite. Two, The inclusion of Attune with Aether. Drawing into lands has been the boon of this deck. Whether it's not drawing into lands of the right colors or drawing into too many lands, this helps by pulling a land out late game (hopefully when I'm at a stalemate) and early game mana fixing. I hope it was the right choice. If it turns out to be the wrong choice then it's spots will be taken by another land and 2 copies of Lifecrafter's Bestiary.
Three, The inclusion of Aethersphere Harvester. This card does work. Any creature in the deck can crew this vehicle, it has flying and if I have energy up it also gives lifelink. I am very excited to see how this inclusion works out.
If you were curious about the other color versions of this deck they are:

STT 002 (BW Modular Mimic): Bw build using Hidden Stockpile.

STT 003 (BGW Modular Mimic): Abzan build that is basically this 001 and 002 mashed together.

STT 005 (BR Modular Mimic: Removal + Burn + Modular Mimic.

STT 006 (BG Modular Mimic): The Value Engine, utilizing Winding Constrictor.

I hope you like the deck, and I hope it's fun to play. I've started building it so when it's done I'll keep you guys posted on how it does in FMN and such. However, whatever build is the best to play is the one I'll play so look at all of them if you'd like, recommend cards, give ideas and combos and most of all thanks for reading!

So GameDay happened. This is the fine tuned version. Round 1: I was up against a UR Control build, I pinged him to death with two servos until he finally conceded. Round two, I sided out the Declaration in Stones (the only creature I saw was Torrential Gearhulk should I sided in Blossoming Defense. Found out the hard way that he was playing (or sided in Dragonmaster Outcast which eventually was the death of me Game 2 and 3. 0-1. Round 2: I was up against UB Control. I mulliganed down to 5 with a sucky hand. He perfectly curved into Liliana, the Last Hope, and Jace, Unraveler of Secrets and then also played Ob Nixilis Reignited, I spent the entire game trying to fend off their ultimates. Eventually I conceded, but I staved it off really well. Game 2 I had a perfect curve and kill him. Game 3, I got stuck on 3 lands (2 plains and 1 Fortified Village). I was doing well, had 8 creatures out, but a Yahenni's Expertise killed all of them and he spot removed everything else. 0-2. Round 3: Another UB Control matchup, but this one was built around Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet. Tons of spot removal, counters and I couldn't really try to survive the onslaught of lifelink and zombie spawns. 0-3. Round 4: I got a bye. So I spent that time to re-image the deck. I'm sad that the deck has become less of Animation Module and now is a weird value brew. It's a work in progress. I'll keep you guys updated for anyone who cares.
