Dominate the game with an impressive array of tools!

Instants, wizards, and artifacts dominate the field as you prepare yourself with a arsenal of spells to cast at a moment's notice. The general idea for this deck is to have a spell ready for any given situation on the board through unlimited hand sizes, massive draw power, and Kaho, Minamo Historian's ability.

(This is my first real go at control in EDH. Kaho, Minamo Historian isn't exactly a popular commander, but I believe that she has some worth with Paradox Engine.)

About the Deck

A huge part of playing this deck is working the board politics. Your opponents can see what you have exiled with Kaho, so you have to choose the cards you exile carefully.

Cards for Kaho to exile

Brainstorm: If you can exile this early game, this helps you get a fuller hand and set up your game a bit.

Reins of Power: My playgroup runs a lot of aggressive decks. Exiling this and making sure they see it will keep them on their toes and prevent them from attacking you.

Fact or Fiction: This can net you some good cards, or some bad ones. Depends on how lucky you're feeling.

Intellectual Offering: I've found that when you exile this, everyone suddenly becomes your friend and it prevents you from getting smacked. It's not completely necessary to cast this, just keep it on the table.

High Tide: Man, having this and Caged Sun can give you all the mana you've ever asked for, especially for spells like Blue Sun's Zenith and Epiphany at the Drownyard.

You typically want to save one and two cost spells for when you draw into Isochron Scepter and Paradox Engine. This way you can loop whatever you have imprinted on the scepter.

Some Utility

Blood Clock/Umbilicus: Once you've run out of instants to cast, you have to flicker Kaho. This is just an easy way to do it aside from wasting a Boomerang.

Paradox Engine: Wow. Such amazing power with Kaho. You can tap her to cast a spell and immediately untap her for another, along with every other mana rock like Everflowing Chalice.

Isochron Scepter: While we're talking about cards that pair with Paradox Engine, lets talk about this beautiful scepter. With Boomerang you can wipe the board. With Counterspell you can prevent anyone from casting spells. Brainstorm gives you infinite draw power. What a great combo.

Metallurgic Summonings + Docent of Perfection  : You'll never have to worry about creatures ever again.

Elite Arcanist: Basically the same as Isochron Scepter, but with a larger range of spells. Can you feel the infinite Time Stops?

Side Notes

In the case of Kaalia of the Vast, make sure you have a counter in hand to deal with that crap (It's a big deal in our playgroup because screw Iona, Shield of Emeria).
