Archfiend of Despair
: Mid priority Demon. A way to both double the damage a player takes AND prevent them from gaining life ? uuuuu~ yes? yes that would be great, thanks. With some combo cards in, like
Gisela, Blade of Goldnight
this might be quite good honestly.
Harvester of Souls
: Low priority Demon. The one Demon that switches flying for deathtouch. Sadly I do not find the value in that, I do however see the value in seeing dead things turning into card draw for me. Kinda hard without an effective way to remove creatures from the field, but one can always hope.
Herald of Anguish
: Low priority Demon. Both low priority for you and for you opponents, This card removes card advantage from your enemies, but they also get to chose what they lose.. It dose however look fairly "friendly"? What I want to say, it wont kill in such a direct way that other players will try to remove it imminently form the field.
Lord of the Void
: High priority Demon. A 7/7 flying bastard that takes control over other players things? yes please. I'd say this is the card to pick for a demon summoning if
Kaalia of the Vast
is not available on the field. I do not promise it's always the right thing to do, but honestly it probably is in majority of cases, especially with some
Lightning Greaves
or
Swiftfoot Boots
on the field.
Master of Cruelties
: Highest priority Demon with
Kaalia of the Vast
more so then the
Shadowborn Apostle
. Sins she can put him out tapped and attacking the same target as her, his ability "can only attack alone" dose not activate. Making this into a 1-hit KO move against anyone you are able to attack directly.
Ob Nixilis, Unshackled
: Low priority Demon. Very much a tutor hate card, won't see play in all your games, but it can be of some value. Treat little
Ob Nixilis, Unshackled
well, and someday he will come trough for you.
Overseer of the Damned
: Mid priority Demon. A single target Creature removal and a token generator. That's nice, but without ways to remove creatures from the other side of the field effectively this might be a one trick pony. This might be quite good to get
Kaalia of the Vast
through some defenses by surprise at least.
Rakdos, Lord of Riots
: Low priority Demon. A Mana-ramp card in , and with very specific conditions. A very niche card but I can see potential for it. Still... its a 6/6 flying trampler, you can't really go "wrong" with that.
Rakdos, the Showstopper
: Mid priority Demon. A potential board wipe against any none-demons. Its based on luck though, so if you are unlike me (you have bad luck), you might not want to use this card. It's still a 6/6 flying trample creature, so at least it got that going for it.
Reaper from the Abyss
: Mid priority Demon. For every time something is killed each turn, you get to kill something yourself once also? gives you more choices. This can however become a target I imagen for people who don't want to deal with his ability. Use this with the help of other players to dismantle the fields of others... be the shrewd politician you know you are at heart and dismantle the system form within and and and !! ahaha muhaha muhahahahaaaa!!..... cough right, sorry. Yes this can be quite good in the right situations.
Rune-Scarred Demon
: High priority Demon with the
Shadowborn Apostle
. Honestly surprising, but if
Kaalia of the Vast
is going to be attacking the turn this card comes out, you can put a demon tutored with the
Rune-Scarred Demon
onto the field tapped and attacking the same target as
Kaalia of the Vast
. Honestly I think
Master of Cruelties
is the only choice you can make here, but I'm sure there might be other demons you might want to tutor for.. This combo is still way up there though.
Spawn of Mayhem
: Low priority Demon. A 4/4 Flying Trample guy is not to bad. He even dose 1 damage to each opponent on each of your turns, awww how cute. In a pinch he dose grow stronger though, so he might be able to help some more in that situation, and with such low CMC it kinda easy to get him out early and kill of those pesky planeswalkers other players are throwing around.
