Due to seeing too many Kaalia of the Vast decks floating around out there, I wanted to make one that plays a bit differently from what is considered meta. While most Kaalia decks are considered to be not very challenging because the play styles very RTFC oriented. This deck will require some more comprehensive knowledge of game-mechanics due to certain card interactions.

The idea here is to play with powerful Angels, Dragons, and Demons and balancing out the multi-colored creatures with the mono colored ones to abuse cards like Dragon Arch as much as possible. Additionally cards like Quicksilver Amulet , Belbe's Portal , or Sneak Attack act as alternate generals for when Kallia is in an un-playable state. These cards also allow the deck to do what it wants to do at instant speed for when defensive plays need to be made. There are still plenty of tutoring and graveyard abuse that people are familiar with in traditional Kaalia decks.

To one shot... use Kaalia of the Vast + Master of Cruelties First, declare attackers: Kaalia of the Vast Then declare triggers: "Kaalia", Cheat in Master of Cruelties (this effect bypasses his first effect of "cannot attack unless alone" because we are past declare attackers. Then opponent declare blockers: (if cruelties is not blocked, make sure he isn't blocked, trigger his effect and on resolution the target player goes to 1 life) Dmg step: (Kaalia hits for 2 dmg and you win.)
Kaalia of the Vast + Rakdos the Defiler The on attack part of Rakdos the Defiler 's effect is ignored because you are past declare attackers so it misses timing. You can for an offensive partial board wipe. After, you are left with a 7/6 flying blocker when the dust clears. You don't swing with him again after the first shot; however, he is a good sac outlet to something like Razaketh, the Foulblooded for an instant speed tutor after blocking something that would kill him anyway.

Similarly, Rakdos, Lord of Riots can be cheated in which allows you to bypass his first effect for the same reason. This leaves your mana open, allowing you to wait until main phase 2 for more big things.

Kaalia of the Vast + Forgestoker Dragon Forgestoker Dragon 's effect doesn't happen during declare attacks step, but checks for "If he is attacking" you can cheat this guy in on a big push and use his activated ability to make your team unblock-able for an unexpected win.
