Have you considered running Silence in Kaalia as a way to have your turn uninterrupted or giving that one person the F*** you for that turn?

Edit: Oh just noticed that you had that in your maybe board :P

Other spells that protect Kaalia are also cards like Imp's Mischief or Devoted Caretaker <- This one is a hidden tech card!

The fact that this is another Mother of Runes and actually better pays dividends in some situations (Mother is still a better blocker). hkhssweiss what would you suggest I take out of the deck? I'm still thinking about adding in Exquisite Angel in case my opponents rid of Platinum Angel. I would like to add Silence too.

You can probably consider cutting out Panharmonicon as it doesn't really do much but affect only around 4 cards I believe. Not really worth the slot. The alternative is you could probably take out Mastermind's Acquisition (although the artwork foiled is sweet, I have one in my Drana deck!) as a 4 cmc tutor in competitive does feel bad, but at the same time I would understand why you would run it. The direct upgrade would be Imperial Seal albeit :P

hkhssweiss yo I appreciate this, I actually ran through the deck and peeped more based on what you said and it did make since. I edited the deck after than and made room for everything. Tech'd in Diabolic Revelation as well due to mana loop because why not? And now i got ways to not be interrupted, that will outright win me the game. What's playing a go all in commander if you don't go all in right, lol. I bought an Imperial Seal from my local, hurt my heart, but i did it. I like the way the deck is looking now, feel free to whenever you want to use it.

I'm the type of competitive player that goes pretty much balls deep to win. You see that Sylvan Library over there? I will take that full 8 each turn.

On another note, yeah the deck looks really fleshed out. If there was anything else to add the last thing at the current moment I would say to consider is Toxic Deluge in lieu of one of your 4 CMC board wipes. It's for those Gaddock Teeg , but you do run plenty spot removals so that's fine as well cuz having both Wrath and Damnation is on point :P

Definitely will have it on the side in cases I ever run into it. I gave it a go in a 3 man today and infinite combo'd my bro's, they laughed at how fast it was so it was all good, but i definitely am seeing immediate improvements. But any how I will work on my next commander deck. Looking at your Meren build for my girlfriend, she loves her.

I love Meren, I rebuilt her at least 6 times but this time I'm actually keeping her haha. My current iteration isn't degenerate but I have my meta calling it that LOL!

Glad I could be of help, your Kaalia is pretty lit! Feel free to ask for any advice with Meren, I have a long play history with her and I tune my deck pretty much weekly, I do minor tweaks here and there to adjust to my meta. Meren is just pure value and kick ass! Hope your gf loves playing with her!

hkhssweiss yo so i went to my local today and dominated, I was so excited, did a tad bit more altering but this is what my build is looking like now. Cataclysm is the MVP!! I used it with Leonin Relic-Warder , Animate Dead , Phyrexian Altar and Plateau left on the table. Pyroblast and Razaketh, the Foulblooded were left in hand. I made infinite mana and burned the table to death with Cut / Ribbons . I think going forward this will be the build, of course i will still tinker with it especially the maybeboard stuff. I have an update for you as well! For your gf, the base build I have on my page for Meren is pretty degenerate...This past Saturday I was locking down 2 Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain decks as well as an Arcum Dagsson deck. Mindslicer MVP as well as Culling the Weak . So happy that I rebuilt her :P
