No Slitherhead ? He goes great with that troll.

yeah slitherhead is great with the troll, and Rakdos's Return is NOT the most helpful card and the searing spear isnt super good so you could put more Creatures. +1 it looks good just make the troll a bigger part of the deck

i strongly considered Slitherhead but it only works with the Lotleth Troll (Gravecrawler another option). ill drop the card:Rakdos's Return for some removal and a Searing Spear also. rembember to +1 please =D.

Take out Searing Spear and Ultimate Price for 4x Rancor , do it

Your curve is quite low (nothing over 4) so I'd strongly suggest dropping Borderland Ranger . As they've said Slitherhead and Gravecrawler are great options. Vexing Devil is considerable too. Desecration Demon and Olivia Voldaren are great june 5 drops. Thragtusk is another creature to consider for giving you some late game health and 3 beaters.

Borderland Ranger was much better when i ran card:Rakdos's Return. Although he goes well with Olivia Voldaren , he is to me now a placeholder untill i find i superior 3 drop.

I meant to say Jund 4 drops, not june 5 drops... weird. For 3 drops Dreg Mangler looks promising. I know in theory Lotleth Troll is great, but my personal play style doesn't like him so much, so in my version I'd probably make it more green heavy and add Strangleroot Geist . I can't believe I didn't think of this before, but Vampire Nighthawk for a 3 drop.

i like the suggestions. not sure if my mana base can handle the bb of the nighthawk.

Olivia Voldaren vs Falkenrath Aristocrat

why not use Falkenrath Aristocrat instead of Olivia Voldaren

4/1 flying haste and can be indestructable...

October 3, 2012 8:46 p.m.

MonkeyDerp says... #12

I've tried both but I like how Olivia Voldaren can take over a game. the sac part of the aristocrat is good in zombies but not the strongest in this deck.

The only thing that can stop a blue white detain deck is your Bonfire of the Damned , otherwise Restoration Angel will tell you what's up

@AmericanTrnksta can you post a U/W detain deck? I've been hearing about them, but I haven't actually seen one, and detain and the new Jace sorta underwhelmed me, so I just want to see how it actually works.

October 4, 2012 10:26 p.m.

MonkeyDerp says... #15

U/W detain as in control or midrange/aggro? I've played r/g aggro for most of innistrad and i found delver not to be much of a problem, or control. can you post a detain decklist? that would be appreciated.

Diregraf Ghoul and Stromkirk Noble are aggressive 1 drops in the same calibre as Rakdos Cackler . If you are going for aggro they will help, and Stromkirk Noble will be useful against white weenie and humans, but your deck seems fine against them anyway

October 7, 2012 9:57 a.m.

MonkeyDerp says... #19

I will definitly consider Stromkirk Noble as a sb card for vs white weenie. The cackler can't block but the noble can get in there then start blocking.

New lines can be made either like this:

This is a new line, which gives you extra space

or like this:

This is a new line, which doesn't.

The first one is just two returns, the second one is three spaces at the end of the first line.

How about Thragtusks?

What is qurian dyrad doing in here? It seems out of place in this deck.

October 11, 2012 6:34 p.m.

DrGodCarl says... #23

No way. Quirion Dryad would get huge in this deck. Her and Rancor are the only mono-green spells. Attach a rancor to her turn three and swing away for more and more every turn.

October 12, 2012 10:33 a.m.

MonkeyDerp says... #24

playtesting the dryad wins games constantly. for example, Cackling Fiend is both red and black and adds two counters.
