This is my take of a budget Jund deck. Im planning on running this deck in my local FNM.
When building this deck i tried to find alternate cards to replace modern staple cards, i realize they might not be as effective, but keeping costs down was a criteria.
The supporting removal run alongside: Lightning Bolt, Fatal Push, Terminate, Abrupt DecayHand disruption are the fallowing: Duress, Inquisition of Kozilek,
Swiss-army cards: Golgari Charm, Kolaghan's Command, Collective Brutality.
Creatures:
To substitute Dark Confidant im using Glint-Sleeve Siphoner and
Live Fast
to produce card advantage.
Im using delve creatures to build the leanest and meanest threats threats: Gurmag Angler, Hooting Mandrills, Tasigur, the Golden Fang. Still testing out the creatures to see what is the optimal number of delve creatures the deck can sustain.
Im using Scavenging Ooze for little life gain and graveyard disruption and also
Witchstalker
to create a versatile creature base. I didn't want to solely depend on the graveyard.
I am looking to make this deck more consistent, i have Faithless Looting to put some cards in my graveyard.not sure if i should not rely on mostly delve creatures. Sideboard is still in the works.
