This is a control combo deck that I started brewing for a GP I'll be doing in November. So far it beat UB Control two matches in a row without once hitting a sunbird.Control pretty much only has counterspells to interact with what I'm doing. And they just don't have enough. This deck has now taken down 3 different UB Control decks, as well as temur energy. Although the temur matchup is probably 60-40 in their favor.

The deck that this has had trouble with so far is UG Riddleform. It has a much smoother curve than I do.I'm playing a sluggish control style that spends time and life to establish a powerful grip on the boardstate. But Riddleform is a much quicker and yet still somewhat controlling. So far it hits my weakpoints pretty well.I'm trying out appetite of the unnatural in the side to help against pesky enchantments, such as riddleform or cast out.

I'm hoping to play against ramunap and UW Approach this weekend. I think Approach has the bad matchup against me. And I have the bad matchup against ramunap. But post-board I think I've got the advantage in both.

I'm also considering running aether hubs so that I can splash in the sideboard. (In particular, I'm currently thinking about 3 of Approach)If you play on curve, it's a surprise turn 6 win out of nowhere. And still considering other tweaks here and there. It's gonna keep growing until GP Portland.
