I wanted to make a super janky deck, and Grudge Keeper seems cool. We have access to a vote card in Tyrant's Choice . Nobody should ever expect to play against this, and it should be interesting and hold some shock value to play against. Not a powerhouse deck by any stretch, just something I want to make work.

Gameplan: get Grudge Keeper out, drop Tyrant's Choice , and make our opponent do something stupid while we chip away at their life. We can slap Cry of Contrition on an opponent's creature (note: we can use this on our own creature and chump block with it to force a discard) to make the choice harder, or just kill something outright with an instant for both benefits.

We don't necessarily want to load up on burn here since sacrificing a creature is an option we want available for Tyrant's Choice . That being said, we can still play some hand disruption to slow them down. Instead of a more ping-y MBC meta, this build relies more on keeping our opponent's board limited to flow better with Grudge Keeper and make their choices punish them.

Gurmag Angler is here so we have access to a big body and can just exile some instants to bring him in. Every other creature can be Unearth ed (bonus points if we cast it on Chittering Rats ). Sanitarium Skeleton is sticky and makes a good target for Cry of Contrition , and Vault Skirge gives us air support and helps survive longer.
