Hello! Dominaria spoilers are live, and one particular card caught my attention, Jodah, Archmage Eternal. I've played spell-slinging decks more than any other kind of deck, and this commander is perfect for me! Casting huge spells for WUBRG? Sign me up!

Important Cards

So obviously, this decks main goal is to cast big-impact spells for cheap mana. The lower portion of this decks curve is mostly ramp and protection, which is meant to help us get to casting Jodah as soon as possible. Cards like Birds of Paradise, Bloom Tender, and Cultivate all serve to both cast Jodah soon, and to make his ability usable. Cards like Gift of Immortality, Indestructibility, and Avacyn, Angel of Hope serve to protect Jodah and other important creatures on the board. The rest of the deck consists of expensive, high power spells like Insurrection, the 5 Praetors, Myojins, and Bringers, and a good portion of Eldrazi. This deck also has a cascade subtheme, with cards like Sunbird's Invocation, Maelstrom Nexus, and Maelstrom Wanderer.
