Move over Jhoira of the Ghitu, The Locust God is the new king of the fatties!

OK so I was super hyped to play The Locust God in EDH as soon as I saw him. However, once he came out everyone just did the same things with him and it got stale almost immediately. The play style was extremely linear and honestly not something I thought would be that much fun.

This is one of a few idea I have in building a Locust God deck and it is super fun/hilarious. Turning your 1/1 locusts into huge eldrazi at instant speed with Proteus Staff is amazing. Of course we also run Polymorph and Reweave for the same reason, but Proteus Staff is the real key for the deck.

Also, before anyone says it; yes I know Jhoira is better at what she does and no I don't think this is more "competitive."
