Trying to work out a fun combo/superfriends control deck to shut people down in multiplayer. I have not got my hands on all the copies of the planeswalkers I want to fill the deck with yet.

Also, there are 2 infinite combos in the deck. They are disruptable and may not win the game on their own but add a level of excitement to the deck so I thought I would put them in. And both of them are 2 card combos which is great.

The deck some control via the countermagic stuff like Overwhelming Denial and Turn Aside which will be brutal with Jace's emblem or a Soulfire Grand Master in play. Then helping the control along are bounce via Capsize or Jace, Unraveler of Secrets's number 2. Additionally one of the modes for Jeskai Charm even lets me tuck stuff into the top of my opponent's library. Finally there is direct burn to round out the control with stuff like Electrolyze, Jeskai Charm and Ral Zarek's number 2. I have also snuck in a kind of hidden surprise in the form of Deflecting Palm. it can be a surprise finisher if it happens late game and can really stall out your opponent's game plan once you get it working in tandem with the Soulfire Grand Master.

The creature lineup is is a balance between combo pieces and prowess jockeys. Stormchaser Mage is a solid early game threat that can deliver a lot of punishment early if not addressed. Follow them with Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest and you just deepen your threats with adding double strike and another prowess creature to the field. The Mantis Riders are a solid midrange creature that are a solid threat if they can get buffed off of Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest with double strike or if you have cleared the field via burn or tapping out any blockers. Soulfire Grand Master is there to strengthen the inevitability of the deck and give another source of recursion to your spells. The Felidar Guardian is in the deck to combo off with Saheeli Rai. I am also looking for an alternate target for its ability. I may find room for a few copies of either Archaeomancer or Mnemonic Wall. The Crackdown Construct is there to combo off with the Wandering Fumaroles.

Finally card advantage is all over the deck. Two of my planeswalkers scry with their number 1's. 2 Copies of Mystic Speculation for repeatable scrying from my hand to get prowess triggers. And even Electrolyze gets a card draw. Lastly, Ral Zarek offers a form of card advantage with his Ultimate.

The two infinite combos for those not familiar with them are these:

Saheeli Rai and Felidar Guardian: Once you have both of these cards in play, you activate Saheeli Rai's number 2 ability targeting the guardian. You use the guardian token's CIP ability to blink Saheeli Rai. When she returns to play, she enters as a new play of herself and gets a fresh set of 3 loyalty counters. You then activate her number 2 ability targeting the guardian again. You keep repeating this until you have enough guardians in play to finish off your opponent since all the tokens also have haste.

Crackdown Construct and Wandering Fumarole: So you have both of these cards in play. Then you activate Wandering Fumarole's ability to become a creature until end of turn. This triggers the Crackdown Construct's ability and it gets +1/+1 until end of turn. Then you now activate the fumarole's 0 cost ability to switch it's power and toughness until end of turn. This also triggers the construct's ability getting it another +1/+1 until end of turn. Then you just keep activating the Wandering Fumarole's ability until your Crackdown Construct has whatever power and toughness you like. Then swing for lethal since you already cleared your enemy's field with all of your burn, bounce and tucking.

Randomly, if you have a Jeskai Charm in hand you can give your infinite Felidar Guardians +1/+1 and lifelink until end of turn. Or if you have Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest in play you can give your infinite power/toughness Crackdown Construct double strike!
