Ridiculous synergy...
Jeskai Ascendancy is just insanely ridiculous with almost any thing R/U/W but when you add creatures with prowess, things can get out of control pretty quickly.
Monastery Mentor is the obvious allstar in this deck but we have a couple others as well. Such as, Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest and Seeker of the Way. When you have Shu Yun and Seeker on the battlefield, if you drop a Titan's Strength and tap 2 W/R mana for Shu Yun's ability to give target creature double strike, Seeker of the Way becomes a big time lifegain and can swing a game very quickly.
Treasure Cruise is clear card advantage, but we have more than one way in this deck to gain card advantage in the form of a creature. You can gain major card advantage with Humble Defector + Refocus. That alone can get you 5 cards easily, add a Jeskai Ascendancy to the mix + any non creature spell, and you can gain atleast an extra 2 cards for as many times as you can cast non creature spells. With any other creature on the board, particularly the prowess tokens gained from Monastery Mentor, you can add in a Retraction Helix gain another quick 2 cards and return Humble Defector before you oppenent can take advantage of his ability resolving and gaining control of him. This does not include the loot ability off the Jeskai Ascendancy.
All of these spells and combinations can be highly synergistic with any of the Monks with prowess. Which makes for a sleeping giant that can go off at anytime in the game. I'm currently playing with numbers but I think the deck is pretty set as far as main decked cards are concerned. I've also been working on the mana base but I think it's pretty set. If anyone has any suggestions on the mana base or sideboard, your feedback is highly appreciated. I think I covered all obvious synergies, but if I missed anything please leave a comment. :)
