This is my attempt at a hella fun izzet spells deck. What I've tried to do is create something that's cheap, fun and has some insane wombo combs to blow up while I play friendly commander games. The deck is meant to combo off in one turn by doing the following:

Melek on the board. Finding Turnabout to start generating mana (ideally also having Twincast, Howl of the Horde or Increasing Vengeance to create 3 additional copies, making 5 total resolutions of Turnabout), using this mana to draw cards or search with Dig Through Time, Treasure Cruise, Intellectual Offering, Frantic Search, Mystical Tutor, Recurring Insight , Brainstorm, Ponder, Faithless Looting or Preordain..... Then, through drawing, finding a recursion piece to bring Turnabout back to hand to continue creating mana. Recursion pieces include Pull from the Deep, Mystic Retrieval, Spelltwine, Volcanic Vision, Recoup or Past in Flames. The point of drawing cards and reiterating spells is to eventually cast enough spells to do either of the following: 1) draw the whole library and win with Laboratory Maniac, 2) do direct damage with Banefire or 3) using Brain Freeze (or Grapeshot if you want to put that in instead) to mill the opponent with storm. Your combo pieces can be protected with the following spells: 1) Arcane Denial, 2) Counterspell, 3) Counterflux, 4) Foil, 5) Disdainful Stroke, 6) Muddle the Mixture, 7) Swan Song. In the early game, the deck can directly find spells it needs with things like transmuting Tolaria West (for reliquary tower or coloured land), Muddle the Mixture for Merchant Scroll, using Merchant Scroll to look for things like Turnabout, High Tide, Mystical Tutor, Frantic Search, Intellectual Offering. It can also use Mystic Retrieval to find Faithless Looting, Past in Flames, Mystic Retrieval and Deep Analysis. This deck is very very consistent. Usually I can combo off using the hardest piece, Laboratory Maniac, and drawing my whole library with no compromises. I like to often end the game with a huge Epic Experiment to exile my whole library so i can just go fishing for the cards I need directly and then putting them on the battlefield. By doing this, I am usually going to have at least 3-5 counterspells exiled with Epic Experiment in order to protect my ending combo. Anyway, hope you guys like. Happy brewing!
