DCU is NOT to prevent decking out, it's main use is to get a couple flurries and/or removal and counters back to your deck.

Harvest Pyre to deal with big toughtness creatures, like Angler and Ulamog Crusher. Can also be used versus those pesky heroic decks to blast out the buffed creatures.

Hypotesizzle was great surprise too me: it offers draw and removal in one card,and you often will discard a Deep Analysis, Firebolt or a Accumulated Knowledge. It's also a great spell to bait opponents counter in their endstep, so you can deploy Flurry of horns in your turn.
