The deck is split up into three parts.
Firstly, you want to stay alive. The best card for this is Exhaustion. This card is effectively a Time Stop but half the man cost. We also have Deluge that is almost as effective. We also have Gigadrowse and Remand. If you have the money Cryptic Command is a fantastic include. Effective use of these tools should keep you alive long enough to win the game, unless youre playing against aggro or burn where your sideboard is vital.
The next step is the most important. We need to set up for the combo, to do this we need to play mine effects, named after Howling Mine. The best is Dictate of Kruphix whose flash keyword is invaluable to the decks success. We also Howling Mine which isnt as effective, but better costed.
Now for the fun part, the combo. Most versions of the have lack lustre win-cons in my opinion, so I decided to go with something a bit more obvious. We need to have six mana, and from there we start casting extra turn spells. We have Elixir of Immortality to stop us from milling our self, and we have two of them to protect against discard. Temporal Mastery has a miracle cost, giving us an opportunity to cast additional cards in our hand, such as more mine effects or a planeswalker. Part the Waterveil can win by itself, and is an on-curve extra turn spell for us anyway. Walk the Aeons is a very important one. The buyback price is only affordable towards the end of the game, luckily thats when well be needing a two-for-one the most. How do we win the game with a bunch of extra turns?
Well, the idea is to ultimate a Tamiyo, the Moon Sage. If we do we can cast Walk the Aeons an infinite number of times, because the spell doesnt exile itself. If you have the money Time Walk also works. The finishers are the either Chandra, the Firebrand her +1 with the tamyio lock results in infinite damage, and her minus works very well in the deck as a whole. Her ultimate is just a beefier version of her +1.
