Standard Aggro Red Deck Wins UR (Izzet)

Sideboard

I have been playing with mono red decks for a long time. I have been tweaking and messing and testing. Yet I think I found a super fun version of red aggro. Red alone is good, but splash another color and I think we can make it better. I decided to splash blue in mine. This lets me get access to 2 good cards I want. the first is an SB card. Stubborn Denial. This is amazing side board tech and allows us to better fare against board wipes. Now for my main board, I wanted to take advantage of heroic. So I have 3 heroic types.

  1. Akroan Crusader -the flooder aka Moses. This guy helps me flood the board with a ton of creatures. A great red aggro card and a staple in every red deck.

  2. Satyr Hoplite- the evolver. This guy can get big fast in our deck. We run a ton of 1 cmc target spells and can use this to our advantage. We can make this guy easily above 3 power and within dodge range of a lot of removal.

  3. Artisan of Forms the copycat aka "you look good, let me look good too". This card is a ton of fun. Whether you copy a Stormbreath Dragon, Sarkhan, the dragon speaker and become a 4/4 invul dragon, or even your own Monastary Swiftspear to get the haste. This card is a 3 mana any possible creature basically. They pay 3 mana for a Goblin Rabblemaster? well our 3 mana goblin rabble master has haste, ( artisan + Hammerhand). Hammerhand is the best buff to give to our little artisan in my opinion. We get a haste creature and a big creature. This card allows the deck to do some fun stuff.

So now that we know the players lets go over the plays. The point of this deck is to be fast and get big. - One of our best cards is Coordinated Assault because it targets 2 creatures for 1 mana. Always save these to trigger 2 heroics.
-Artisan of Forms is an amazing turn 3 or 4. If they play a Polukranos, Eater of Worlds , you can copy it give it haste and prevent a blocker, and even buff it again with a Titan's Strength to deal massive damage turn 4. This card is fun and works well.-know your opponents. do not simply try to flood the board when you opponent has Anger of the Gods (unless you have your counter). Split your heroics as needed. Get your Satyr Hoplite bigger while making multiple threats. Also save your burn until you run out of steam. I always try to save my burn until I am out of gas. burn is a great finisher for when you can't get through their wall or you are out of guys vs a control deck.
- have fun. This is a fun deck and you should be sure to enjoy it!

I hope you like the deck as much as I do. Play test it and tell me what you think! Also Side board suggestions are appreciated!
