NOTE!!!: i used to run this deck irl, but i made it into grixis after much playtesting. i will leave this deck list up because it did beat some face in and i did get 2nd at comicon in the modern event with it. but ya im moving to grixis from izzet personally.

ok so i realize this is close to current standard, but i dont play a lot of standard. im still messing with it a lot, and dont quite have all the cards irl, but id love some help. most of my decks tend to be more creature heavy so this is a learning expierence.

to deal with control i decided to lean toward bounce with Unsummon and Cyclonic Rift rather than counter with cards like Essence Scatter and Negate. my sideboard, however, is heavey counter, but more for when i hav to fight another fewer creature decks.

my current worry with the deck is a win condition. lock down works but i am banking on Guttersnipe to do some damage and Lightning Bolt would usually b saved for player. if i get a niv out then thats great, or dominus, im just not sure thats enough out put to count on.

so should i try and squeeze in lave spike to the main board? or anyone know any other good modern blast thats mana efficient. thats the thing that scares me off a lot of cards, mana efficiency. mayb ill throw Fireball back in...
