This really looks like a ton of fun! Great job on your first deck; I think you've got talent for building them. As for advice, I'd definitely recommend adding Charmbreaker Devils to your mainboard. The fact that their recursion ability is random adds a lot of fun for you and your opponents; no-one knows what'll happen next! Also, Insurrection could be an additional wincon for your deck (depending on the boardstate at the time of casting of course).

Happy gaming!

Thank you so much for your comment NV_1980! I'm glad you like the deck. :)

I was thinking about the Charmbreaker Devils and I think I could swap them with Melek, Izzet Paragon. They are very simmilar cards and even though I really love Melek I will probably take him out because he was not performing very well in the deck. :,( Also I don't want to run too many expensive permanents which do not have any immediate effect.

As for the Insurrection, I have considered it before and I do not run it because it is a one-card wincon and I think it would get old pretty fast.

Anyway, thank you for your advice and have a nice day!

Not only do I like it, I intend to build my own version of it. Thank you for inspiring that. As for Insurrection; I understand your sentiments. I figured that when your board state would suck for some reason, this is an awesome surprise-butt-sex card.

If you could, I would enjoy some of your feedback on one of my decks. Like I said, I think you've got a talent for deck-building. Maybe you'll see stuff I overlooked.

Fuel for the Cause is a pretty good card.

I like your deck construction philosophy sir ; Its harder to make a fun deck then to make a deck that wins. +1

As for fun but not op Izzet cards out there, check out Dominus of Fealty , strong, but fun and never broken (almost) and the fantasticaly flavorful Star of Extinction.

I wish you a superb day/night

Hi Joumba. Thank you so much for your feedback!

Dominus of Fealty looks like a possible addition to the deck. It doesn't have much synergy but I really like it for being so flavorful. It is a bit costy for a "fun-card" though so it will go to the maybeboard for now.

Star of Extinction is a very flavorful card indeed, but I like my current boardwipes more as they are more versatile.

Have a nice day! :-)

Have you thought about Aetherflux Reservoir ?

Maybe use the Counterspell instead of Scatter Arc ?

Hi ScionsStillLive, thanks for the suggestion.

I agree that Counterspell is almost strictly better than Scatter Arc (and some other counterspells I run). However, I like to run a bit more interesting cards and leave out "boring" cards like Counterspell when possible. I just like the art and flavor of Scatter Arc and that it has synergy with Mizzix by having only one colored mana in its mana cost.

If I were to make this deck as powerful as possible, Counterspell would be a no-brainer, but I like to make my decks flavorful and it is usually not an issue as I play in a casual environment.

hi! i'm in love with your deck but it haves 2x cards on it (sorry my bad english). For example 2 x Commit / Memory, Volcanic Vision, Supreme Will , Prophetic Bolt, Karn's Temporal Sundering , Mystic Confluence ,Mizzix's Mastery

Hi Alassion!

Glad you like my deck. The reason why there are some cards multiple times is that the deck is sorted by "Custom Categories" and I've put some cards in multiple categories. If you sort the deck by "Card Type", each card will be there only once. :-)
