Maybeboard

Instant (1)

Non-competitive, neutral deck that's easy to sit back in multiplayer and win with Felidar Sovereign.

Lifegain with Kabira Crossroads, Nyx-Fleece Ram, Congregate, and Rhox Faithmender to double those efforts.

Angelic Arbiter to make them think. Blazing Archon and Windborn Muse to keep them from attacking you. Holy Day and Peace Talks to buy some time and... keep the peace.

Cessation, Banishing Light, Wrath of God, and Disenchant for board control.

Then when people least expect it, cast Felidar Sovereign and win next turn.

This is a pacifist's deck. I tailored this to meet that playing style, but if someone has targeted creature removal to get rid of your Felidar Sovereign, you could go on the offensive and just do a regular beat down.

"Had a lot of fun playing at my LGS losing tonight. I'll explain.

There's a girl that when I'm there with my kids, she's really great with them... spends time showing her drawings, sharing ideas, even bought a Pokemon expansion pack to add to one of their collections.

She plays MTG sometimes when I'm there and is usually withdrawn, does her thing, doesn't do much... kind of pacifist.

So I designed a simple lifegain deck that fits her playing style, ordered up, sleeved up, and stopped by the LGS.Went right up to her and asked if she could playtest this deck for me. She put her stuff to the side and played a game with me... and won. I asked her if she liked the deck and she said yes, so I told her she could have it.Ecstatic. It was awesome seeing that.

We played a larger group game after a bunch of guys were wondering why she was excited. It was a bit drawn out... she played a Felidar Sovereign a bit early (still learning the strategy behind the deck) and became a threat to the game, which is something she usually isn't. It was fun watching her smiling and going, That's right, I'm going to win.

It got killed. Merp.

There was a board wipe, then other players started building up. We're talking Dragons, Myrs, Gearhulks, all sorts of stuff. Shit was getting serious.

And then she plays her own Wrath of God. The smile on her face, haha. It was great, because it was COMPLETELY uncharacteristic to how she usually plays. And I could tell she was loving it.

She threw down another Sovereign and won the game. It was great. Didn't even care I lost two games in a row... it was worth it."

Made for Kira, who is more of a pacifist player.
