This is a combo Stax deck that plays like a legacy deck. We have 8 pieces of fast mana, a ton of cheap spells, and a combo lock. The basic overview is that the deck uses a bunch of 0 mana artifacts to either flip an Erayo or empty your hand for an Ensnaring Bridge. If you play a Canonist with an Erayo out, most opposing decks can't play any spells. Ensnaring Bridge is also really hard for a lot of decks to deal with. In addition, most 0 drop artifacts in the deck have some sort of use. Tormod's Crypt fights graveyard decks game 1 when they aren't used to hate, engineered explosives is a catchall, and chalice of the void just stops some decks from working. Core Tapper helps you manipulate the number of counters on these cards as well as Astral Cornucopia. The wincon of the deck is Ghirapur Aether Grid, which allows you to ping out opponents. It also plows down smaller creatures. The deck also grinds the game down to a halt, which causes it to have difficulty winning, which is why we run Staff of Domination, Planar Portal, Expedition Map, Academy Ruins, and Inventor;s Fair. The Map can tutor for Inventor's Fair, which can tutor for the rest of the cards, or Academy Ruins. Academy Ruins and Staff of Domination allows you to loop Engineered Explosives while also drawing you more cards. Inventor's Fair can find Planar Portal which can find more stax pieces or an Aether Grid to close out the game. These cards allow you find the pieces you need to win the game. In addition, in very grindy games, we can bring in Crucible of Worlds to loop Inventor's Fair. Also in the sideboard we have Beast Within as a catchall, Grafdigger's Cage as a tutor target, Oblivion Stone to deal with large amounts of permanents, Pithing Needle to fight tron and other decks with activated abilities, Spellskite to protect your things, and Torpor Orb to just get some decks.
