A wise man once said, "You can't make an omelette without breaking some eggs". Wizards clearly wanted that omelette when they broke eggs by banning Second Sunrise. Truly, they thought that the threat to the kingdom of modern was vanquished, never to return. But there were survivors. A last alliance of various card-drawing-1-CMC artifacts lead by the Riddlesmith at the Krark-Clan Ironworks rose to meet the modern meta, woefully without any decks that win one game in forty minutes (except lantern control). And now it is your turn, as I pass it on to you, tappedout reader, who for some reason is looking at the pile of trash that I have the nerve to call a deck, to lead this alliance of eggs to the new dawn. Cancel that, the new dawn would be the Second Sunrise, which we've already established isn't happening. I task you to lead this alliance to the dawn-after-the-new-dawn. You know, this dramatic speech thing isn't really working out for me.
