New EDH Deck with Kaarthus, Tyrant of Jund.
General idea is to just be breaking everything, all the time. Piles of 2-4-1 cards that destroy when they come into play, and generally keep the opponent lagging behind, bogged down, so I can start smashing Kaarthus around for hasty general damage.
Plenty of non-optimal choices based on building with what I had available, so constructive suggestions are appreciated.
Just a fun interaction... I had someone play Blades of Velis Vel on two of my creatures before casting Karrthus to jack them from me. Then, the way we played it, which I believe is right, is that he didn't have to give them back just because they stopped being dragons later.
Well, you wouldn't get them back anyway, since Kaarthus' ability doesn't end at end of turn, but that card is -amazing- for this deck. Thanks!
Nice deck, not at all build around dragons, but you are clearing the path for Karrthus. If you'll be looking for a slot, Blightning seems a bit redundant, as it is only card in your deck with discard effect.
Yeah, it's definitely on the chopping block for better things. The deck was assembled out of whatever in-theme stuff I happened to have at the time, and it's a kill spell that is better than 1-for-1 so it got in there.
And for a bit of unblockable damage card:Rogue's Passage.
Cool deck though!
