The goal of the deck is to go off with Isochron Scepter imprinted with Dramatic Reversal.Then, if we have at least 2 mana with mana rocks we have infinite storm, and with 3+ mana with mana rocks we have infinite mana. Slap a Magnifying Glass on top of that and we can draw our whole deck, and from there we win with Grapeshot.
The rocks i chose are Sol Ring because it's the most efficient at ramping fast, Izzet Signet to get colored mana, and Magnifying Glass for the draw combo. Mox Opal would probaby be better than Izzet Signet, but i don't have that kind of money. I'm not sure if they are other rocks i sould consider.
For tutors i use Muddle the Mixture witch can get Dramatic Reversal, Isochron Scepter, Grapeshot or Izzet Signet to complete the combo, it can also get Mana Leak, Peer Through Depths or Reshape, but it's pretty unlikely that i would need those over the ones i listed before. I also use Reshape to get any artifact that completes the combo.
For card draw and digging, i use Peer Through Depths, witch can conviniently be imprinted by Isochron Scepter if needs be, and Thoughtcast to take advantage our artifact-heavy deck.
The other cards are Mana Leak and Galvanic Blast to buy time, and can be an alternate win cond if we have a second Isochron Scepter and no draw engine yet. Counterspell seems worse than Mana Leak because of the double , and i'm not sure about wether to use Galvanic Blast over Lightning Bolt.
I'm not sure about the manabase, i need to get the colored artifact lands (Great Furnace and Seat of the Synod) because it helps with Galvanic Blast, Thoughtcast and Reshape with virtually no drawback. Darksteel Citadel helps too, mut it might not be good enough since we need to get as much colored man we can get from our lands. I don't know for sure about the balance of islands and mountains either, but since we have a lot of mana rocks, 18 lands seems to be enough most of the time.
