Maybeboard

This is a pillow fort, mini-control Oloro, Ageless Ascetic deck with a smattering of sangromancy for funsies. The goal of the deck is to punish your opponent for every choice they make, while passively draining the life from them and giving it to yourself, getting card draw, or building up your treasures. Combo's are everywhere in this deck. Everything in the deck interacts with something else. Its beautiful synergy.

The most fun part of the deck -- the sangromancy! These cards are a constant source of life gain and damage for your opponents. This is essential for keeping you alive long enough to set the board up and has the amazing feeling of slowly bleeding your opponents dry.

1) Bloodchief Ascension

2) Queza, Augur of Agonies

3) Twilight Prophet

4) Kambal, Consul of Allocation

5) Gixian Puppeteer

6) Exquisite Blood

Our games are going to be slow. Very slow. So we really want is to survive while our sangromancy brings everyone down to manageable levels and we draw into our win cons. As a result, we need to slow everyone else down to a crawl with tax effects and deter actions with damage.

1) Aura of Silence

2) Authority of the Consuls/Blind Obedience/Charismatic Conqueror

3) Ghostly Prison/Propaganda

4) Kambal, Consul of Allocation

5) Sheoldred, the Apocalypse

6) Citadel Siege

7) Ashes of the Abhorrent

8) Grand Arbiter Augustin IV

Card advantage often wins games and with a pillow-fort deck that doesn't feature tutors, we need to ensure we're drawing cards in adequate numbers to get the cards we need. We obviously have Oloro, Ageless Ascetic if he's outside of the command zone (situational), but we need more than that. A great place to start is Alhammarret's Archive to synergize with Oloro's abilities. We also need to make sure we don't discard our extra cards, so we need Reliquary Tower and Thought Vessel.

1) Phyrexian Arena

2) Rhystic Study

3) Mystic Remora

4) Esper Sentinel

5) Drogskol Reaver

6) The Gaffer

7) Archivist of Oghma

8) Faerie Mastermind

9) Twilight Prophet

10) Trouble in Pairs

11) Bolas's Citadel

In addition to our tax effects, we have several pieces of life gain interaction in the deck to facilitate fun stuff going on. To start, we've got Alhammarret's Archive pulling its weight in another way, this time doubling our life gain. We've got a ton of ways to gain life in the deck, both on ours and on our opponent's turns, that will capitalize on the Archive . That will be huge to help fuel our win-cons. But let's take a look at some of the other ways we make use of that life as a resource.

1) Sorin, Grim Nemesis

2) Crested Sunmare

3) Sanguine Bond/Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose/Vizkopa Guildmage

4) Cliffhaven Vampire/Marauding Blight-Priest

5) Aetherflux Reservoir
