When Commander 2016 first came out, while everyone was flipping out and building decks for Atraxa (either infect or Planeswalkers) I was more wanting to play with Ishai, the pretty birdy that was caught in Atraxa's shadow. Obviously a partner had to go with him. At first I thought Vial smasher, that way I could have Marchesa in the deck and use her to keep Ishai alive, but play tests with it just didn't give her the strength to keep up. At least with Reyhan, there are a whole bunch more more nifty interactions that work better. I absolutely love how this deck plays out. So much fun bouncing counters around. Especially in a typical 4 person pod. Getting Ishai out turn two just fuels the rest of the deck with the free counters my opponents give him early game. Landing a Crystaline Crawler and Reyhan turn three just fuels the rest of the deck once Ishai dies when swinging into an opponent.
