I transformed my scion of the ur-dragon deck See Here if interested to the ur-dragon himself. Its big, its mean, and its scaly. Any criticism appreciated.

The master plan is to ramp early and pray that your opponents don't see/care who your commander is because if they hate you out before a single dragon hits the field then its over.

Some combos/important cards: Scion of the Ur-Dragon + Moltensteel Dragon +Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon: tale as old as time spiral (well technically new phyrexia). Have a single opponent that needs to get off the table before they combo out? Combo out before they do. Activate scion twice, picking moltensteel, then skittles. have the first trigger resolve turning scion into moltensteel. before the second trigger resolves, pump scion up using any red mana or life until he is at least power 10. then allow the second trigger to resolve turning him into skittles. give him haste and swing at the opponent to have them taste the mono black infect rainbow.

Scourge of Valkas / Dragon Tempest: wincons in their own rights. especially if you have an Utvara Hellkite running rampant.

Temur Ascendancy: incredibly broken in this deck. haste enabler & allows us to draw every time a dragon comes into play.

Clever Impersonator: why have one Utvara Hellkite when you can have 2?
