In-deep guide of all cards:
Creatures:
Champion of the Parish: Early beater that gain power as we play humans, actually most creatures in the deck and with Gather the Townsfolk.
Bloodsoaked Champion: Gravecrawler with a more reventant creature type for the deck. He's recursive and can be sacrified over and over.
Cartel Aristocrat: Main sac engine for death trigger. It does gains most protection you want, except from colorless.
Xathrid Necromancer: Give a second life for almost all of our creatures.
Pain Seer: This get us cards, lots of cards. Its the poorman Dark Confidant.
Skirsdag High Priest: Tap, in the best case, Pain Seer to summon a HUGE demon. Morbid is a negligeable drawback in this deck.
Athreos, God of Passage: Not a human, but still, he will ferry them directly in your hands if your ennemi doesn't pay the price of a Bump in the Night. He's also very strong of his own if your devotion to the ferryman is sufficient enough.
Non-creatures spells:
Gather the Townsfolk: Play that the turn Champion of the Parish came before for greater result. Also a sacrifice fooder.
Night's Whisper: Plain card draw for a little price (its black afterward). Used over Sign in Blood for its splashability.
Zealous Persecution: Awsome combat trick, it does also pump your small creature and kill most mana dork or at least weaken them.
Orzhov Charm: Tool box who either : 1. save one of your essential creature from most removal/bad position. 2. Destroy ANY creature for a bunch of life. 3. Bring back a lost friend (who as been killed by your opponent or volountary by yourself).
Spear of Heliod: Its a Glorious Anthem empowered by a destroy effect. Unfortunatly it is legendary, its why it is splashed. I could play a playset of Honor of the Pure instead if the zombies tokens and other things where white!!!
Lands:
Plains and swamps: Must have, for mana and because Path to Exile does exist.
Marsh Flats: Give you the basic land you need, or even Godless Shrine.
Godless Shrine: Fetchable and give any of our needend mana for a little price.
Fetid Heath: Mana fix land, for mana intensive spells.
Temple of Silence: Scry land, it could be replaced by some more fetch land went it will be possible, but it does still good enought.
Cavern of Souls: Say human, profit.
Vault of the Archangel: Give some good abilities.
