With a lot of life-gain through Bishop of Wings and Impassioned Orator coupled with spirit creation through deathtriggers like Afterlife the idea is to accept some damage in the early game and eventually work towards a board state where your opponent becomes nervous about killing any of your creatures. Legion of Light and Ministrant of Obligation risk unleashing a cavalcade of triggers if they sit next to Teysa Karlov and at opportune times you will be the one to sacrifice them with an unexpected block or Final Payment.

The idea is to either to grind your opponent to death with cost-effective trades and card-advantage through Dawn of Legion and your Spirits, or to pull a fast one with Rally of Wings for a charge with your fliers or blocking. If your opponent plays things badly you might also get to put Sephara Sky's Blade out on turn 5, though that's more of an edge case.

Unfortunately the deck is really weak to aggressive removal in the early game, anything which provides a board-wide -1 to toughness, or replaces dying with exile.

Fun if you enjoy the tension of balancing at the edge of your lifebar before (maybe) pulling back with a well-timed play.
