The Concept

This combines my two favorite things, the Izzet Guild, and control cough cough not letting your opponents have fun. The deck revolves around the idea of any basic control deck. Kill everything, never let your oppenent have fun/do anything, and play a big threat to win late.

Main All-stars of the Deck

Chandra, Flamecaller: This card is the primary win con. The +1 gets us damage aplenty. Or the opponent can trade one of their creatures for the tokens Chandra makes. Either works. For her 0, it's card draw and cycling, what control deck wouldn't like that? Finally, the -X can be a board wipe. Seriously this Chandra just screams control.

Jace, Unraveler of Secrets: This is another planeswalker that embodies the control theme. Any card advantage is this card? His +1? Check off the list. Protection/removal? -2 counts I suppose. -8? Make your opponents basically concede instantly since they can't do anything? Yes. The whole point of these kinds of decks.

Goblin Dark-Dwellers + Any Burn Spell: This combo is insane. Not only a 4/4 with menace to swing in, but can use basically any burn spell in our deck from the graveyard. Exquisite Firecraft is very strong here in this roll with all the spells in our graveyard.

Other Key Cards

Some other key cards will be mentioned with short reasonings.

Epiphany at the Drownyard : Not only is it out main draw spell that is pretty strong and can help Spell mastery activate, it's basically Fact or Fiction/Steam Augury. So fun added to how good the card is!

Stormchaser Mage: Usually in aggro lists, this guy doesn't do to much damage, but can be a 1/3 blocker, deal significant damage over time with this deck, and can get in for some early beats.

Thing in the Ice  : Could be seen as a win con, and I'm open to any reasoning you have to convince me, but I like it here better because I do no like to rely on it to win, because it's fairly easy to kill even with its 4 toughness. Also, it can be seen as good and bad with how focused it becomes. People do not want you to have all the counters on him removed.

Sideboard

Where I really need help with. I'm new to real non casual magic and don't really have a good idea what to put here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: I have put a possible sideboard in. Please give me any criteria you have on it.
