I run infect in modern, and I'm probably going to buy the pauper pieces and run pauper infect too. Here's what I've come up with, enjoy!

Main Deck Show

So first off infect's modern decklist is mostly commons, which makes this a lot easier to build. Blighted Agent is replacing Inkmoth Nexus because it has even more evasion. Invigorate is literally insane in this deck, because life doesn't matter to infect. I personally didn't want to run any counter spells because that's not really going with the rest of the deck, but i might throw in a Counterspell or two if I have to. Apostle's Blessing is the protection you have instead of counterspells. I mained one Hoodwink to replace one main Viridian Corrupter. The rest is basically infect.

Sideboard Show

Relic of Progenitus is your graveyard hate, Nature's Claim and Hoodwink are enchantment and artifact hate. card:gutshot is mostly to deal with card:Stabdard Bearer, which is basically pauper Spellskite. It could also deal with smaller creatures. Quicksand is to deal with creatures a little bigger then Gut shot can handle, although not a big improvement infect doesn't have many options with simic colors. Llanowar Augur is a good chump blocker that can turn into a fine buff spell quickly.

Possible turn 2 win and other things Show

Ok so there's many ways to get a turn 2 win and the chances are even higher with Invigorate. So first off is T1: Forest, Glistener Elf T2: Forest, Rancor, swing with elf, Invigorate, Mutagenic Growth, then Groundswell or Giant Growth for 12 or 13 infect. Also another thing, putting Rancor on Ichorclaw Myr is fun.

Hope you're ready to infect your opponent with some good ol' Phyrexian love.

Turns out Invigorate isn't legal so ignor the part with that, the T2 can still he accomplished, just not as well.
