Maybeboard

A simple, very cheap deck. The second I saw enchantment creatures I knew I would be playing an all enchantment deck. (Okay, 5 sorceries, but they are REALLY good) The question was white and what other color? This one is almost standard, but I only play eternal. Suggestions welcome, but no non-enchantment permanents. I am pretty consigned to living in fear of Tranquility.

I am also aware that 100% enchantment means no hexproof creatures... which is awful for me. But this is a concept deck and I am sticking within those confines to make the best deck possible. It doesn't help that modern hexproof enchantment is fast, furious and hard to counter, while enchantment creatures are none of those. I had to take a slower approach.

Getting the mana curve right was also hard. Enchantment creatures are limited, and about half are utterly awful. Of the good ones, many share a CMC (Nyxborn Shieldmate / Hopeful Eidolon or Boon Satyr / Eidolon of Countless Battles) They also are all basically modal spells that can be cast at two different CMCs which needs consideration. I had to cut a lot of cards down to 3 for this reason.

I keep things cheap, so that late game I can kind of machine-gun spells thanks to Eidolon of Blossoms, plus, dropping my hand makes Ethereal Armor scary good. That card is the glue that holds the deck together.

Sphere of Safety: Late-game lockout. If I survive this long and the opponent doesn't produce an answer quickly, I should win, but that's quite the if. Moved to maybeboard.

Open the Vaults One is enough, If I draw it by the late-game it basically finishes the game for me. Any other time it would be a waste.

Canopy Cover is my only source of (almost) Hexproof. I considered Aspect of Mongoose, but with this many Auras, I am worried about shroud.

Nyx-Fleece Ram probably seems an odd choice to mainboard 4 of but I think it is worthy. It blocks and stalls until I can put an aura on it. Auras are where all the attack power in this deck is located anyway.

There are some cards I could add to make this better, but fundamentally its a budget deck, and I don't want to shell out for a Daybreak Coronet that costs as much as the rest of the deck combanied.
