This deck takes advantage of Syr Gwyn's ability to attach equipment to knight's for free, to run an aristocrats package that revolves around equipment for sacrifices and knight tokens to equip and sacrifice, while keeping us stocked with cards and allowing the option to swing out with an army of knights if our sacrifices don't come through.

We can get damage out of creature deaths with equipment such as Mortarpod and Mask of Immolation, as well as Syr Konrad and Zulaport Cutthroat, and sac outlets like Makeshift Munitions.

We also run a decent package of token creators, and most of them make knight tokens, such as Josu Vess, Silverwing Squadron, and Aryel, Knight of Windgrace who are all knights in their own right too. Circle of loyalty makes a steady stream of knight tokens too, especially given that we do have a fair amount of legendary spells in our deck, and Sigiled Sword of Valeron fits into our equipment sub-theme while also supplying more knight tokens. Call the bloodline creates knight tokens, but requires us to discard cards from our hand, something we will often do due to hand size restrictions from the mid-game onwards anyway. Syr Konrad's ability and our large recursion package mitigate this drawback even further. Varchild and Lena are knights that supply us with plenty of tokens for sacrifice fodder or to use as chump blockers if we want to keep our knights alive, and Knight of the last breath is a knight that allows us to sacrifice other creatures to make more tokens.

We include a few cards to take advantage of our continuous and numerous creature entries, including Impact Tremors, and Corpse Knight to turn token creation into damage, and Mace of the Valiantto double up with the equipment plan, possibly allowing for Gwyn to take out a player for commander damage, or just knock off the last portion of their life total. Ajani's Welcome gives us life whenever a creature enters under our control, which couples well with our life gain package.

Lifegain allows us to use Gwyn's card draw ability freely, and utilise similar effects on Midnight Reaper, Stormfist Crusader, Cauldron of Eternity, and Vona, Butcher of Magan, all of which require us to pay life. Sanguine Bond also allows us to turn these cards into a win-con, especially when coupled with Debt to the Deathless, Bightflame, or Crpt Incursion. Loxodon Warhammer, Danitha Capashen, and Blacklance Paragon all fit this part of the deck too, as well as with incidental life gain from effects on Zulaport, Ajani's Welcome, Vona, Vampiric Rites, and Knights' Charge.

Knights' Charge is primarily included for its ability to return all knights from our graveyard to the battlefield, something that is particularly powerful after a board wipe, and which can win the game if used after resolving Single Combat. Whisper, Blood Liturgist allows us to sac our tokens or cheap creatures to get back our more important cards, while Sun Titan and Bishop of Rebirth allow us to reliably fetch back smaller choices. Order of Midnight allows us to fetch back any creature in our graveyard with its adventure side, and Restoration Gearsmith and Myr Retriever allow for some flexibility to fetch back our artifacts too. The Cauldron of Eternity provides decent protection against graveyard hate and also triggers Syr Konrad twice whenever one of our non-token creatures dies.

Syr Gwyn has a built-in ability to draw cards using equipped creatures, but Stone Haven Outfitter allows a similar effect on creature death, along with adding an anthem effect to all of our equipped creatures, a two-effect combo similar to Vanquisher's Banner. Stormfist Crusader is a knight that draws us cards at the cost of the life at, but does the same for each of our opponents too. Harvester of Souls and Midnight Reaper also draw us cards when non-token creatures die, and Vampiric Rites allows us to sac creatures to draw cards. Finally, Knight of the Black Rose makes us the monarch and leeches life from any opponent who steals it from us.

For ramp we are largely reliant on artifacts, Sword of the Animist and Dowsing Dagger synergizing well with our equipment package, but otherwise, we use talismans and signets, as well as Wayfarer's Bauble.

Our final package is our suite of removal spells, with Aryel and Vone acting as our most reusable and versatile removal, while Despark and Mortify allow us to hold up some mana efficient responses. Our board wipes are Divine Reckoning, Single Combat, Fumigate, and Martial Coup.

Our plan is to keep ourselves stocked with cards from our sacrifices, and attacking with equipped creatures and swing with either a wide board of tokens or else sacrifice them all for damage. We can also use Sanguine Bond and life gain, or else use Debt to the Deathless to wipe out everyone at once.
