I was tasked by Casey4321 to build a 5 color Kenrith, the Returned King Group Hug deck. He/She told me to build such a deck after i put out on my announcement "deck" I have an announcemet to make.... The only constraint was that the deck had to be 5 colors and that I didn't want to be a ass, this wasn't what I was celebrating. He/She caught on instantly and told me to build a Group Hug deck, which is completely in flavor for what I was going for.

One thing that I made special care to preserve was that I only have 1 wincon, Happily Ever After . While yes technically i could win by smashing someone in the face with Abyssal Persecutor or Zhur-Taa Ancient , this is Group Hug. The point is that everyone has fun, no one gets manascrewed or lacks cards in their hand. I do have a couple of tools to either protect yourself or stop someone from doing something because we all know THAT player, who runs a Decree of Silence + Solemnity combo.

Happily Ever After is the fairy tale story. The orphaned maid dances with the prince and they fall in love. She gets out of the horrible life she is in to go live as a princess for the rest of her days. This isn't how the world works. But maybe... maybe we can make it something similar. Maybe someday, everyone will have the same mentality of this wonderful community. This mentality of acceptance, plain and simple. It doesn't matter your sexuality or preference of deck. Just banding together for the love of Magic: The Gathering and to better each other.

Basically, I wanted to say thank you, plain and simple. Thank you for accepting me. Thank you for looking at any one of my numerous decks. Thank you for actively thinking about my suggestions, even if I didn't have the experience or was quite the player I am now. Thank you for letting me be, well, me.

So I commemorate this deck not to one single person. Not to WotC and any company. I dedicate this deck to you, the user who took time out of their day to look at the ramblings of a random internet stranger. In Commemoration and Thanks I give this deck to all of you, the TappedOut community.
