The thing about Lich's Mirror is that it only shuffles in permanents you own. If we can gain control of a few of our opponents' lands and rocks, the mirror will bring us back to life with a full grip and a bit of a mana base, everything we need to exact our revenge, or even find and play the mirror again. We can become immortal. Maybe. Listen, it's not a perfect plan.

We have backup plans though. The spiciest is Transcendence . There's plenty of bounce in the deck so we can play it straight, but we can also trade it to an opponent who is at over 20 life, which will not end well for them. And what Transcendence deck would be complete without a janky combo? Use Blood Celebrant to stack a million "gain 2 life" triggers, then bounce the Transcendence. It's not exactly immortality, but 2 million life will have to do.

If all else fails, stealing enemy commanders and playing all their spells is pretty good as far as backup plans go.
