This is part of a current challenge I'm doing to build decks (Casual and EDH) that are reasonably effective and under $10 on TCGPlayer, excluding basic lands.

Three color, <$10 ($8.80 on TCGPlayer as of 8/8/18 (wow that's a lot of 8s)) deck that features "healing" your opponents to death with Tainted Remedy out. It functions as an extra-efficient burn deck, with the conditions that it doesn't do damage until at least turn 3. Its a fun little gimmick that's not too hard to counter, but can be very strong if left unchecked.

It can kill two opponents by turn 5 with a perfect starting hand - T1: Plains T2: Swamp, use Life Burst to heal yourself for 4 T3: Plains, Tainted Remedy T4: Forest, Life Burst them for 8 and then again for 12 - dead T5: Any land, Life burst for 16, Rest for the Weary or Healing Hands or Heroes Reunion for the kill.

Even if you don't get all of your Life Bursts in your starting hand, you will be doing between 5 and 8 damage per 2 mana spell, with the extra utility of being able to heal yourself in a pinch. There are also some green cards that allow you to "heal" an opponent instead of paying the mana cost, allowing you some free damage (for bonus points, use Invigorate on an enemy blocker as they try to stop your Alms Beast or Grollub - you damage them for free to cast the spell, and then they hurt themselves for more on your creatures!)
