Basically, I'm going to take infinite turns and bash you in the face with krakens and hydras and I'm sorry about it. I just really wanted to make a really cool Bant deck and Ajani, Mentor of Heroes just looked too good to pass up.

A lot of this deck is based on Standard cards, especially JOU cards because I'm all excited about it being released. If there are better options for the cards that are not standard, lemme know and I'll definitely take a look at putting those in the deck.

The big combos with this deck, to get me as many turns as I want are Ajani, Mentor of Heroes + Sage of Hours + Vorel of the Hull Clade . Basically, Ajani will dig until I find the two pieces of the combo that I need, then the fun begins. First, Vorel hits the field, sits around for a turn, doing his thing. Then I drop the Sage. I use Ajani's second ability to stack a bunch of counters up on him, then Vorel doubles the counters and I take another turn. From there, I can either sit back and dig through my deck, play Kiora for the kraken, or start pumping up my other big pressure card--Kalonian Hydra.

If that combo doesn't work out in time, even with the mana ramp from Birds of Paradise and Sylvan Caryatid , I can still start pumping counters up on Sage of Hours. The plan is to have him out, then pop my baby, Kalonian Hydra. I'll target him with a Charm for 2 counters (shoutout to heroic for being awesome) and swing with my hydra. 2 turns of that and I'll be on the way to an infinite turn combo. If I can have Prophet of Kruphix out at this point, it's icing on the cake.
