Fully optimized Kaalia deck with the typical slew of angels, demons, and dragons (oh my!) I've tested variants that used more targeted hand disruption and land destroyers, as well as a version that relied on reanimation and graveyard shenanigans with Mike and Trike combo as an alternate win condition. None of the variations were terribly strong, so I've returned to the tried and tested mana denial Kaalia build. The deck relies on casting its beloved leader turn 2.5 on average, then throwing out an appropriate fatty creature the following turn, and hopefully resolving Armageddon or another stax tool. Very strong in 1v1 environments.

A breakdown of the Doom Carver combo:

1. Cast either Doomsday or Insidious Dreams placing Hellcarver Demon on top, followed by Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Triskelion.

2. Draw Hellcarver, either naturally or through means of an engine. Note that Dreams is much better for natural draw, as you can cast it on an opponent's endstep, drastically limiting the amount of time they have of answering your combo.

3. Swing with Kaalia to cheat Hellcarver into play. Connect with an opponent for combat damage,

4. Using Hellcarver's triggered ability, exile your board and put Mike and Trike into play.

5. Ping your opponents to death using the classic Mike and Trike infinite damage loop.
