Sacrifice cheap artifacts to power up your golems to take over the board with Ich-Tekik, Salvage Splicer. A goofy, little explored tribe with a surprising amount of support through the splicer cards like Blade Splicer and Master Splicer now with a cool and surprisingly powerful commander at the helm. Partnered with Ishai, Ojutai Dragonspeaker for the full bant splicer package, both generals have a +1/+1 theme that support each other rather nicely.

There are several ways to create cheap artifacts to sacrifice, with many of them being able to sacrifice themselves for quick and easy counters. Treasure tokens created by Smothering Tithe and Spell Swindle provide ramp and free counters to the team. Clue tokens, like the ones created from Tireless Tracker and Tamiyo's Journal provide the deck with a bit of card draw. Food tokens can gain us life, but are better used when paired with Gilded Goose for ramp or Oko, Thief of Crowns for nonsense.

Passing around all of the counters is great, but certain cards let us go even crazier. Proliferate effects like Evolution Sage and Contagion Engine steadily increase the amount of counters on our creatures. Doubling Season, Hardened Scales, and Kalonian Hydra greatly accelerate the growths of our golem friends while Inspiring Call saves them from Vandalblast or other similar cards. Many of our splicers grant evasion, such as Wing Splicer giving flying, but Pridemalkin is a nice include since Maul Splicer costs so much to play to give the team trample.

Ich-Tekik, Salvage Splicer opens up uncharted territory. The golem tribe led by the salvage splicer revolves around an odd assortment of creatures getting really, really massive and punching people in the face by sacrificing artifacts. Commander Legends is bringing a variety of fun and unique commanders, opening up a ton of fun and new avenues for the format. Thanks for taking the time to check out the deck!
