Well of course I have! nothing says evil like Predator Ooze and Rancor :D The problem is, what to remove for 3 of them ._.

I like it with two exceptions, card:Yeva, Nature's Herald is great dont get me wrong she is one of the stars in my Momir edh deck but I dont think she is really doing you any favors here. She is usually best when you have mana spare and instants, during your opponents end step if you didnt need to spend your mana, its not wasted as you can flash in a creature. If your usung it as a flash blocker then Ambush Viper is probably better. You are only running a few instants and are more likely to play them on your turn anyway.

Which brings me to Titanic Growth , id drop it for Rancor . Rancor is just too brutal to not be in here it causes such massive problems for your opponent.

The only other thoughts are that Thragtusk > Vorapede in my personal oppinion and perhaps Thrun, the Last Troll sideboard vs control but you may not need it considereing garruk and the ooze.

Okay about Yeva. I added her/him because I like to have open mana during my turn. If I drop Predator Ooze on their turn, then that poses a huge problem for them as it can swing immediately. It also opens up the sorcery stuff as well as Garruk so that I may play those during my turn without having to sacrifice playing a creature.

Titanic Growth was mainly there against burn decks and to get a quick kill on something, whether it be from the Ooze for another counter or on Primordial Hydra to make it more threatening. Rancor right now, is only good on my Predator Ooze . Actually I should word it as, the BEST card for it to be used on. Primordial Hydra gains trample with 10+ counters, Elderscale already has it, as does Vorapede . HOWEVER! I do think that is a good strategy to try, so I may do some test playing with that.

Finally, the Thragtusk . I wish I could, but I'm pretty sure they'd jack up the price of the deck pretty heavily. I mean, Thragtusk has to be worth way more than Vorapede . Also, I will be sideboarding Sheltering Word so if I indeed do need some life, I'll gain a hell of a lot more than 5. Garruk can give me a lot more than a SINGLE 3/3 Beast token, as well as a lot of 6/6 Wurm tokens for his ultimate. So in the end, I can do better than Thragtusk . Just takes a bit more work. Also, Vigilance and Undying. Kill it once, here it comes much stronger now :)

Garruk is bad in standard. he's too slow and clunky. Garruk Relentless  ^Flip is much better in many ways. He provides tutoring, tokens, and removal. Your almost never going to play elderscale wurm effectively because you don't have ramp and it comes really late. I would def. put Thragtusk in. I really don't like Primordial Hydra or Vorapede either. Vorapede is just decent and thats about it, and ull find if you take hydra into a competitive environment like an fnm its extremely ineffective because it takes til turn 7 without savagery for it to get trample, it will get chump blocked so easily, and then once it does get trample the game is either already over or they immediately doom blade it or vapor snag it or something to that effect. You might want to put Ulvenwald Tracker in there as well.

Well Garruk, Primal Hunter was more of a draw engine than anything else. I can pop him right away and draw cards to help me out and get a full hand again. However, on the off chance I can use him as he truly was meant for, then I will. I mean, a turn 4 8/6 trampling Young Wolf is pretty nasty.

I love both cards. 5/4 Vigilance, trample, AND Undying? Yes please. I owuld love to see someone use either of those cards on it, cause then I'll call "Illegal deck" :D This deck is post rotation :) Primordial Hydra is amazing cause it's a threat that must be taken care of quickly. As for control decks, that is why I will be sideboarding Sheltering Word . Also, one word says it all. Rancor . There's your early trample.

I do agree that Ulvenwald Tracker should be in the deck. It is a great fight card and is a one drop. What do you suggest I remove? I will probably remove Elderscale Wurm , as it hasn't done much justice in testplaying. Most the time it is a dead draw.

I think you are fine with Garruk, Primal Hunter . Yes,Garruk Relentless  ^Flip is also good, but I see what you are doing. I think Garruk Relentless  ^Flip is better in a green with any other color deck. Check out the mono greens I use (one currently used and the other for after the new cycle):

I understand that he may be a good card, Garruk Relentless  ^Flip , but I don't usually run planeswalkers, and Garruk, Primal Hunter was thrown in mostly for draw power.

Meaning, if I can play creatures during their turn, it opens up a chance to use the sorceries/enchantments/planeswalkers during my turn. I play Predator Ooze during your turn, then Increasing Savagery on my turn, targeting my Ooze and then follow it up with Rancor , you're gonna have a major problem on your hands.

but other than that, what are can you use her for? no offense, but thats a large combo there thats not gonna be available that often. Without anything to hexproof Hydra he's gonna be a large target as well when you try to flash him in as well

Okay so I took out the Yeva's and threw in some Sheltering Word s, also changing some other stuff around.

I don't know if Yeva was a necessary removal but Sheltering Word is a nice addition. Actually considered putting some in my werewolf deck to keep them from getting targeted.

deff a good idea. stops a lot of decks cold
