Step right up kids! Its time to take a ride on Mr. Bones' Endless Abzan Ride! Other coasters have loops, drops corkscrews, and inversions, but the name of the game here is infinite combos!
Solemnity is definitely going to be making waves in standard in the wake of Aetherworks Marvel being banned, but it also appears to have a lot of potential for play in modern. This card is the foundation for all of the combos in the deck. Consider it the coaster's restraint/lap bar, because with this in play, your opponents are never getting off the ride.
Next up we have Murderous Redcap. The idea of preventing -1/-1 counters on the redcap and abusing the way it pings enemies isn't new, but now with the broad counter prevention of Solemnity, we can stabilize the combo. Sure Melira, Sylvok Outcast gets the job done, but in my opinion, an enchantment will stay on the field much longer than a 2/2 creature. Our bloodthirsty goblin friend, once we apply the ability to sacrifice it indefinitely with Viscera Seer we can inflict infinite damage to a creature or player. That awful pain of riding a wooden coaster with too many years on it and too few screws in it? That's Murderous Redcap.
Another combo piece is Kitchen Finks. Again, not an original combo, but still a fun one. Prevent counters, sacrifice, and gain life to infinity and beyond!
Viscera Seer is also essential to the combo viability of this deck. This is what allows for the indefinite sacrificing of your Murderous Redcaps and Kitchen Finks. Another fun aspect of it however, is the ability to also scry indefinitely, functioning as a false tutor mechanic. If for any reason you need to do so, you can search your library card by card, put what you want on top, and draw it next turn!
