Deck built for a challenge my local EDH group is starting. "Build a commander deck for 20 dollars or less". Additionally, I received, as a joke, a challenge to build a deck flavored around edginess.

Tariel, Reckoner of Souls happens to have more edges than an eight dimensional object.

However, she isn't actually that good, especially without pricey support cards found in most non-budget decks. She needs to stay on board for a round, and might just maybe return something useful. In order to make her work, we need both ways to protect her, and ways to fill the graveyard of our opponents, while stalling down any sort of plans they may have had.

So lets run it down-

Every wrath effect we can afford under budget in our color? Check. Enough creature removal to make goblins squeal? Check. A suite of really crummy, cheap, indestructible creatures? Check. Pariah? just for that extra stall points? Check. A bunch of miscellaneous opponent discard effects? check. Lifegain to offset inevitable hate? Check. Edgy card names, art, flavor text, and abilities? Double check.

Goal is to try and get commander stuck, preferably with Mask of Avacyn (It does look cool! shut up Kevin!) Or Indestructibility equipped. Ice opponents threats individually. Repeatedly wrath everything to make the other players cry. Revel in your own edge, just be careful not to cut yourself.

If you have any ideas, please feel free to suggest them, all advice is appreciated.

Stay edgy, stay stingy.
