Ok, now that the heading is out of the way, let's get this show on the road.

Why Should I Play Arjun?

Do you like combos? Do you like drawing cards, winning at instant speed? Do you like Mindmoil and like to make people question just how you expect to win by recycling your hand? Then do I have the General for you!

Combos

Ok, so there is a lot going on in this deck. The primary goal is to get either Arjun, the Shifting Flame or Mindmoil out along with either Psychosis Crawler or Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind. Both of these can kill fairly quickly especially because we have so many cheap (sometimes free) and efficient draw spells.

Additionally, this deck can win off of a well timed Laboratory Maniac and Thought Reflection/ Alhammaret's Archive . Just cast 4-5 spells and oops, I have drawn my whole deck.

And, for those really tough fights, my favorite combo shows it's face in Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir and Knowledge Pool.

Of course being in blue, and liking "free" spells, we run a solid High Tide package.

Matchups

This deck has some interesting match up potential.

It does very well against other combo decks because we run quite a few "free" counterspells.

Aggro/ Commander decks are also fairly simple due to cards like Snap and Cyclonic Rift.

Stax is an interesting match depending on the build. With smoke stack we are fine because we only need 3-4 mana at most to win. I have won through a resolved Stasis against Derevi twice, but you need a perfect draw, with lots of free spells like Probe, Gush, our Moxen, anything that basically says "Pay 0, cast this spell".

I also have a budget, more storm-style version of this deck. If you like, I can post that as well.
