@Jokernaught Definitely doing that haha. Ghost Quarter too good vs Cavern of Souls
for sideboard graffdiggers
Cavern of Souls will still shit all over this deck. 2x Ghost Quarter isn't going to change much, especially since Cavern taps for its special mana before you can even activate Ghost Quarter .
Also, Thrun, the Last Troll .
Not if Ghost Quarter destroys Cavern of Souls the moment it hits the battlefield. Force them to tap the mana when the don't want to, then send whatever back with Vapor Snag . It's not difficult to work around Cavern. Just takes some skill.
But you don't have priority when Cavern of Souls enters the battlefield. In the very least, your opponent can just float the mana until the end of whatever phase it is, and only an idiot would drop Cavern against you with a Ghost Quarter out, then pass priority without casting something.
Besides. What you described takes 3 cards to deal with 1. And that's just for one Cavern of Souls . Having one-sixth of your deck a counterspells in today's meta is just silly.
Yeah I know defeats the purpose of Tempo and Card advantage. You can't always profit from a situation like this running pure blue against a card like Cavern of Souls . A solution is a solution is a solution.
-1 Think Twice +1 Ponder
I love this deck, I have one that is sort of similar, I wanna go for a delver/illusion deck until I can get some money for the more expensive stuff, check it out Sucks for you!

Jokernaught says...
Ghost Quarter . No more worries about them nasty Caverns.and you should run about 24-22 lands. Bump out 1 of each Ponder , Think Twice then add 2 Ghost Quarter or you could Sideboard it. But either way it's something you should look into.
