I know full well that cards such as Stormbreath Dragon are considered seriously dangerous threats for a reason. I also know that my personal preferences for green creatures leads me towards a build that makes that dragon, Desecration Demon, and all bigger flyers completely unimportant. Starting from the premise of actually using Sylvan Primordial, since I can't in commander, here is my Simic build that has some interesting synergies. In particular, if I manage to get Sylvan Primordial to stay on the battlefield for a turn, I can target it with Progenitor Mimic, forever fixing my mana and destroying Garruk, Apex Predator and his typical prey (planes walkers), lands, anything troublesome that isn't a creature really. And then the primordial works fabulously with Courser of Kruphix, giving potentially two life there, and as much with Urban Evolution. Most importantly though, in order to help the mana dorks, I include four copies of Plasm Capture. With that, here we go.
