BOARD OBSTRUCTION

Ah, so much hate!

Every piece of this puzzle-hate-deck is thought for make advantages by obstructing our opponent's plan.

I think of this as a metagame smasher.

Energy decks will suffer the brand new Tocatli Honor Guard , this Orb on leg fits perfectly in a Kaladesh enviroment the meta is settled in.

Nimble Obstructionist is an all-star card, this counters PW abilities or artifacts ones and it replaces itself at the same time.By the way it's a 3/1 flashy flyer, this is a cool evasive plan supported by almost half the creature I choosed.

Aven Mindcensor synergizes with many plans:

  • It prevents the insane advantage the opponent takes after a good Settle the Wreckage;

  • With Ramunap Excavator and Field of Ruin there is a really interesting combo. You can smash you opponents non-basic (unluckily) and ramp by yourself at the same time! All this blocking the oppo with Mindcensor.

Kinjalli's Sunwing protects from fast aggro decks (aka Ramunap Red) and B/G based. And another flyer to the list!

Siren Stormtamer in my opinion is an OP card. In this deck creatures are important and his ability can make someone nervous. And try to guess? He flies!

Thinking about mid/late game i decided to give Ripjaw Raptor a chance for making board and card advantage. Then there's his big brother Carnage Tyrant that i think it may deserves two slots above one... What a threat.

EDIT

All those double costing green creatures were causing troubles testing them. So I decided to hate with another flyer, Angel of Condemnation and Vizier of Many Faces that can be anything you want. Even another Tyrant.

In terms of protection, board control and card advantage i made uncertain decisions...

Settle the Wreckage, as said before, performs too good with Aven Mindcensor to not be played. It also exiles all Amonkhet Gods, Tyrant and Bristling Hydra, which are for sure the worst threats to encounter.

Perilous Voyage bounces almost everything, and it can makes us scry if we bounce some little permanents. You know, that ones that makes the meta so aggressive.

Ixalan's Binding is Reflector Mage incarnated. Or surely better. Harder to remove, and with a strongest effect. This is what we are looking for hatin'.

Opt is a really good cantrip, we want to see all those cards and fast!

Anyway I'm not sure about this, Blossoming Defense is a great deal for a one-drop that protects creatures.

(Working on description)

Tested the deck a bit and gave me good results.

U/R control, U/B treasures were good MUs, Dinos gave the deck some problems.

Im thinking about the SB so any help about it (as for MB) is appreciated.

I care about this, I hope you'll hate this as much as me. :)
