I've never played Standard, but this is what I'm trying to put together to try out. Keep in mind these are cards I have with me as the base, but as I get suggestions I'll change around the deck (to stuff I might not have).

I'm not sure what to expect with Standard, or if responses are something to mainboard. Any help is appreciated!(I don't have access to a ton of cards or a lot of money to dump, so the cheaper the cards the better!)

Questions: Because of Sylvan Caryatid and other ramp, I'm not sure if I should worry about adding scrylands or not since they'd be delayed a turn, as opposed to a basic land. Should I find a playset to put in, or any? Is the mana delay worth it?

Market Festival would be longer-lasting devotion than Font of Fertility since it isn't sacd, but is more time-consuming and expensive to put out, and seems more late-game than early. Would it be good to stick to a 2/2 until I understand the opponent's deck and switch as needed, or start out with a playset of either one first?

Would Xenagos, God of Revels be good to put in for free haste and an indestructible? The Hammer of Purphoros could give haste too, but can get destroyed pretty easy.

Fun goals: ramp up with Karametra's Acolyte, duplicate them with Twinflame , re-tap (and use Xenagos, the Reveler for red if needed), and hopefully put out something like Hydra Broodmaster and Monstrous into an army of fatty tokens. With Purphoros on the board, it could be an instakill anyways.

Or, ramp into a Clan Defiance kill.
